Biogas compressor

This concerns a RVA-085 biogas compressor.

This biogas compressor is installed at a sewage treatment. The compressor sucks generated biogas from the top of the grinding fermentation tank. The compressor then presses the gas through a number of lances back into the fermentation tank. As a result, the sludge is being routed and the bacteria that cause the sludge fermentation remain active. The produced biogas is consequently converted to electricity.

The installation is periodically maintained by Boogert BV.
